Youtube Admits To Election Interference – More Censorship Of Free Speech…
Google announced today that they will begin removing any content on Youtube referring to possible voter-fraud in the 2020 US election.
This is despite just yesterday the states of Texas and seven others suing Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan for voter fraud in the Supreme court. We’re covering it all in the election updates link posted in the header.
If Google can do this to the United states, they can do to Ireland or anywhere else. Here’s the announcement from Google today:
Yesterday (dec 8th) was the ‘safe harbour’ deadline for the U.S. Presidential elector’ awards and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President-elect. Given that, we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today (or any time after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections.
Google’s Youtube Blog where the announcement was made
By acknowledging that they are censoring results, while being 100% aware of multiple ongoing federal lawsuits (not to mention the thousands of sworn affidavits on voter Fraud around the country), Google is essentially openly admitting they are meddling in democratic election processes. While this is definitely a cause for concern, it is also sign of their increasing desperation.
In 2000, Republicans blew well past the Safe Harbour date of the 8th December, and sailed on into January before eventually winning the election. After losing an initial challenge in the Florida State Supreme court, the campaign went on to the Supreme Court. While Google were probably referring in their statement to the current election as ‘historical’, just twenty years ago Safe Harbour was shown to be an irrelevance.
Indeed, the only date mentioned in the US constitution is inauguration day of January 20th. December the 8th and the 14th are Federal statutes that do not outrank the constitution. Safe harbour is a notional date where the U.S. Presidential state-elector’s awards are finalised. But it is soft, and non-binding.
Google knows this, yet they have decided to double down on their censorship of reality and their policing of our perceptions, by deciding what we are allowed to see and hear. They are telling those of us without the understanding to use DuckDuckGo that we are not capable of weighing up information and deciding things for ourselves.
This is a form of psychological abuse perpetrated on a scale never before seen in history. Big Tech are now showing their desperation as Trump makes ground in the courts. Their announcement is the equivalent of ‘might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb’ If Trump gets back in, they will be held to account. If Biden somehow gets in, their power will grow.
Section 230 gives legal cover to big online platforms like Youtube, giving immunity to social media companies like Facebook and Google & Twitter from being sued over the content uploaded to their sites. It treats them as platforms, and not publishers. While this is most definitely a good idea, Facebook, Twitter and Google are abusing their privilege.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you know about widespread censorship and wrong-think ‘fact-checking’ by these companies, carried out in alliance with local biased outlets like the New York Times, and the journal.ie, Ireland’s socialist digital fish-wrapper.
Twitter have been actively engaged in censoring the most powerful man in the world – the President of the United States, since before the election. By not providing an impartial freedom of speech platform and censoring free speech, Big Tech have become publishers.
Based on the legislation they should therefore should have their section 230 legal protections removed. This would very likely lead to the breakup of these companies – if Trump can get section 230 removed they would likely implode. Google could be sued for what it displays on politically manipulated search results. As could the others.
“No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.”
Section 230 exact wording
While this may seem like doom to internet afficionados, there is now indisputable proof that Google meddled in the election pre-November 3rd. (continued below)
Dr Richard Epstein (a Democrat) has highlighted widespread bias pre-election by Google against Trump, by sending vote-reminders only to Democrats. You can read more about that here and here. Epstein continues to study Google search results bias – but you can do your own research right now if you like.
Check out this Google search result, and see how hard you have to dig to find the article above. Results come from leftist CNN, the NYTimes, and the Washington post. Everything Big-tech presents us with now is politically biased in the march towards a socialist utopia – this author is being prescribed those US election search results while sitting in County Cork in Ireland. If they have to manipulate things, then whatever they’re selling can’t be good.
If Trump continues into a second term (which he should) the likely middle ground will be in Google, Facebook and Twitter opening up their algorithms to scrutiny, and agreeing not to censor search results. The EU will then be pressured to follow suit as Nationalist populism rises across the continent. Nationalists and conservatives know that doxxing and censorship is a very real and present danger to the sustainability of our democracies. Without free speech, we have nothing.
Even Irish lefties brainwashed by years of liberal pro-EU university degrees, and incessant socialist propaganda from state broadcasters like RTE are starting to wake up to this fact.
Only the most cucked hypnotised marxists from Sinn Fein, BLM and Antifa will disagree with the notion that Google search results should never be manipulated, given that it is the portal through which so many people build their experience of the real world.
We must all be allowed and encouraged to make our own minds up on reality.
Free speech in America is not dead yet. Trump’s nominee for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was just approved by the US Senate. Nathan Simmington will work on replacing section 230, and will stymie any efforts by a Biden administration to strengthen it (if Biden somehow gets past the mountain of voter fraud evidence).
This is what this latest suppression of freedom of speech by YouTube/Google is all about. It is the equivalent of them putting their fingers in their ears and shouting “la la la” and hoping that SOMEHOW, by silencing election fraud discussion, they can help make it go away.
In June 2008 the Irish people voted NO in a referendum to ratify the EU’s Lisbon Treaty which proposed to greatly expand the EU’s bureaucracy and control over member states. In October 2009, the Irish people were made to vote again, so they could give the right answer.
The vote swung 20.5% after a year of concerted media efforts to persuade us how stupid and ignorant we were for voting no. And who knows what was done with balloting and vote meddling. Stupid paddy WAS holding up progress, and needed to be taught the right way to think about handing over their hard won sovereignty.
Ten years later, it sure doesn’t feel like progress.
Had the Irish EU-sycophant Government had access to Google’s power in June 2008, there would have been no need for them to run a second sham referendum.
We’re being censored & shut down on Facebook & Twitter for telling the truth. We rely on our readers to share our work, thank you.
